I'm a hotel business, is the Displayory right for displays in my hotels?
Absolutely! The Displayory is ideal for enhancing a reception area and can be customised to match the season or specific events. It also provides a great way to furnish and add interest to empty spaces.
Is the Displayory suitable for an office environment?
Yes, the Displayory is a stylish and practical solution for creating privacy in an open office, offering cosy and creative workspaces.
I need a stand to showcase my crafting business at events. Would the Displayory work for this?
This is exactly why we designed the Displayory! Whether you need hanging space or shelves for your crafts, the Displayory has you covered—and more! Enhance your display with vibrant plants in the planter boxes or any other décor that inspires you!
Can I paint my Displayory?
Yes! The Displayory comes unvarnished, making it perfect for painting in any colour you choose.
Can the Displayory be used outside?
Yes, the Displayory can be used outdoors on even ground! For added stability, we recommend securing it with guy ropes or similar supports. While it's great for outdoor use, it's best to bring it inside during wet conditions and avoid using it as a windbreak.
Where is The Devon Screen Company based?
We're located in rural Devon, surrounded by our cats goats, sheep and chickens plus all the various wildlife that chooses to live with us! Whenever possible, we aim to work with suppliers from the South West to reduce our carbon footprint.
Product Questions
Where is the Displayory made?
The framework is manufactured in Somerset and hand-finished and packed in our Devon workshop.
Are your materials UK sourced?
Yes, all our materials are UK sourced.
How sustainable are your products?
The Displayory is made from birch ply which is PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest certification) and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified. The timber is also CE (Conformité Européene) marked, which means that it has been assessed to meet high safety, health and environmental protection requirements.
Do I need to buy add-ons to my Displayory stand?
The Displayory package (The Original) includes all the essential add-ons to get you started. However, you can always purchase additional pegs, bars, and more to fit your needs, or customise your own screen system by selecting individual components. It's an incredibly versatile system!
Can I add my logo to the design?
Yes, you can however we don’t provide this service at the moment. We have used Vistaprint to produce our business banner.
What should I put in the planters/boxes?
Anything you like! Though they were initially designed for plants, you can fill them with whatever inspires you. If you're a jeweller, turn the planter boxes into mini treasure chests brimming with 'jewels.' If you're showcasing during the Christmas season, fill the planters with wrapped presents and crackers!
Delivery Questions
How long will my order take to arrive?
Within 4-6 weeks as a maximum guide, however we hope to bring these lead times down as soon as possible.
I live in Devon, can I pick my order up?
At the moment we offer a delivery only service, via courier.
Do you ship outside of the UK?
Yes we can arrange this. Please contact us for further information.
Assembly Questions
Will I receive assembly instructions?
No, as it is a tool-less product, which we hope you’ll find super easy to assemble. However more information will be available before the first products are shipped.
How long does the Displayory take to assemble?
On average we find it takes around 5-10 minutes to put together.
What tools do I need to assemble the Displayory?
None! It is designed to be tool-less for ease.
Can I put anything on the shelves?
Currently, we recommend avoiding placing breakables on the shelves, especially in high-traffic areas where they might be bumped. However, we are working on introducing sturdier shelving options and additional frame bracing for added support.
