A few years ago, while working as a gardener, I designed collapsible, portable screens to conceal unsightly garden elements, like wheelie bins, or to provide privacy.
The innovative idea was integrating planters into the base of each screen to provide stability and allow them to blend seamlessly into the garden.
Years later my wife and I published a children's picture book, which we wanted to market at fairs and trade shows. Dissatisfied with the generic, uninspiring roll-up banners and displays, I realised that the old screens could be reimagined for marketing purposes.
